Greece hummus
Ingredients
- 1 can of chickpeas
- 1 red onion
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- salt & pepper
Preparation
Slice the onion & slowly caramelise it in a pan with the balsamic vinegar for about 15 minutes
In a food processor, blitz the tahini, garlic, water & lemon juice until a smooth liquidy paste is formed
Next add the chickpeas & the onions, blitz until smooth adding olive oil slowly & maybe more water if necessary until your desired consistency is reached
Season with salt & pepper & serve with whatever you wish !!
