Greece hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 can of chickpeas
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • salt & pepper

Preparation

  1. Slice the onion & slowly caramelise it in a pan with the balsamic vinegar for about 15 minutes

  2. In a food processor, blitz the tahini, garlic, water & lemon juice until a smooth liquidy paste is formed

  3. Next add the chickpeas & the onions, blitz until smooth adding olive oil slowly & maybe more water if necessary until your desired consistency is reached

  4. Season with salt & pepper & serve with whatever you wish !!
