Vegan Cheesy Gluten-Free Bowtie Crackers
Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 2 Tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 cups Banza bowtie pasta
Seasoning
- 1 Tbsp aquafaba (or avocado oil)
- 3 Tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Preparation
Bring water to a boil then add in the rest of the ingredients. Cook the pasta for 4 minutes. Drain but don't rinse.
Mix the dry seasonings together well. Toss the cooked pasta with the aquafaba then with half the seasoning. Toss a few times then add in the rest.
Air fryer method
Airfry in the basket for 8 minutes at 390°F. Mix and toss. Cook for an additional 6 minutes. Let cool. They will crisp up as they cool.
Oven method
Preheat oven to 425°F. Spread cooked and seasoned pasta on parchment paper and bake for 8 minutes. Flip and toss and bake for 8 minutes more. Remove from oven and let cool before munching.
