Banana Nut Donuts with Glaze

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 c non dairy yogurt
  • 1/3 c non dairy milk
  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3/4 c cane sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon all spice

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F)

  2. Mash the bananas in a large bowl

  3. Add the non-dairy yogurt, non-dairy milk, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas and mix well

  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cane sugar, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, and allspice

  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined

  6. Spoon the batter into a greased donut pan and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean

  7. Allow the donuts to cool

  8. Top with a maple peanut butter glaze
