Banana Nut Donuts with Glaze
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 c non dairy yogurt
- 1/3 c non dairy milk
- 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 c cane sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon all spice
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F)
Mash the bananas in a large bowl
Add the non-dairy yogurt, non-dairy milk, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas and mix well
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cane sugar, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, and allspice
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined
Spoon the batter into a greased donut pan and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean
Allow the donuts to cool
Top with a maple peanut butter glaze
