Easy Homemade Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2/3 cup + 2 tbsp almond milk
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar (for filling)
- 1 tbsp cinnamon (for filling)
- 1 & 1/2 tbsp melted butter (for filling)
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease an 8x8 baking dish.
In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking powder.
Stir in the melted butter and almond milk to form a dough.
On a floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle.
In a separate bowl, combine coconut sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter for the filling.
Spread the filling mixture evenly over the dough.
Roll up the dough and cut it into 6 cinnamon rolls.
Place the cinnamon rolls in the greased baking dish.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Once baked, you can use store-bought frosting for topping.
