Easy Homemade Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2/3 cup + 2 tbsp almond milk
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar (for filling)
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon (for filling)
  • 1 & 1/2 tbsp melted butter (for filling)

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease an 8x8 baking dish.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking powder.

  3. Stir in the melted butter and almond milk to form a dough.

  4. On a floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle.

  5. In a separate bowl, combine coconut sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter for the filling.

  6. Spread the filling mixture evenly over the dough.

  7. Roll up the dough and cut it into 6 cinnamon rolls.

  8. Place the cinnamon rolls in the greased baking dish.

  9. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

  10. Once baked, you can use store-bought frosting for topping.
