Fig & Hazelnut Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp of baking soda
  • 1/3 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp of nutmeg
  • 2 ripe bananas mashed well
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp of vanilla
  • 2 tsp of canola oil
  • 3/4 cups dried figs slightly rehydrated
  • 1/2 cup lightly roasted hazelnuts

Preparation

  1. Combine wet ingredients and pour into dry mixture. Mix until combined. Fold in chopped figs and chopped hazelnuts. Keep some larger pieces for the top

  2. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until done
