Garlic Parmesan Smashed Potatoes
Ingredients
- 18-20 baby potatoes
For boiling
- 800-1000 ml water
- 1.5 tablespoons salt
Garlic butter
- 2 roasted garlic bulbs or 8 minced garlic cloves
- 5 tablespoons softened butter
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- dried parsley
For seasoning
- garlic powder
Simple garlic mayo dip
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1.5 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 0.5 teaspoon white sugar
Preparation
Boil the baby potatoes in the water and salt until tender.
Drain and smash the potatoes.
Season the smashed potatoes with garlic powder.
Prepare the garlic butter by mixing the roasted garlic, softened butter, salt, parmesan cheese, and dried parsley.
Add the garlic butter to the potatoes.
Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 30-40 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Serve with the simple garlic mayo dip made by combining mayonnaise, garlic powder, milk, and sugar.
