Morena Beautiful People Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- Spelt flour - 2 cups
- Raw Sugar - 1 1/2 cup
- Dutch Cacao powder - 1/2 cup
- Baking powder - 2 tsp
- Baking soda - 1 tsp
- Salt - pinch
- Chopped prunes - 50 grams
- Candied fruits - 50 grams
- Soymilk or any plant-based milk - 1 cup
- Olive oil - 1/4 cup
- Rum essence - 2 tsp
- Zest of 1 orange
Preparation
Preheat oven to 245°F and grease a 9-inch cake tin.
Combine the dry ingredients: sift flour, cacao powder, baking powder, baking soda.
In a separate bowl, mix wet ingredients, including chopped prunes, candied fruits, soymilk, olive oil, rum essence, and orange zest. Use a hand beater to mix well.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
Pour the batter into the greased cake tin and bake at 180°F for approximately 40 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool before removing it from the pan.
Decorate with your choice of chocolate icing and fresh fruits before serving.
