Easy Blueberry Ginger Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons ginger juice
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

Preparation

  1. Add the blueberries, ginger juice, maple syrup, and 1/2 cup water to a sauce pot.

  2. Cook over high heat until the water starts to bubble then reduce to medium and cook for 5 minutes.

  3. Mix together the cornstarch and 1/4 cup water.

  4. Pour into the pot and stir.

  5. Blend or mash the mixture as desired for texture, using a blender, immersion blender, or potato masher.

  6. Use it right away or let it cool for an even thicker consistency.
