Easy Blueberry Ginger Syrup
Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 2 tablespoons ginger juice
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
Preparation
Add the blueberries, ginger juice, maple syrup, and 1/2 cup water to a sauce pot.
Cook over high heat until the water starts to bubble then reduce to medium and cook for 5 minutes.
Mix together the cornstarch and 1/4 cup water.
Pour into the pot and stir.
Blend or mash the mixture as desired for texture, using a blender, immersion blender, or potato masher.
Use it right away or let it cool for an even thicker consistency.
