Ingredients

  • 200g firm tofu
  • 4 tbsp plant milk
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp chives, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 tsp garlic granules

Preparation

  1. Drain the tofu

  2. If it’s really wet, use a cheese cloth or a tea towel to properly drain all the water

  3. The dryer the tofu, the better

  4. Place the tofu, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, milk and oil in a blender

  5. Blend for about 30 seconds or until desired consistency

  6. I like mine to still have tiny chunks of tofu, but if you’re after a really smooth consistency, you may want to blend for a little longer

  7. Stir in the chives, garlic granules, salt and pepper

  8. Taste and season more if required
