Vegansandwich
Ingredients
- 200g firm tofu
- 4 tbsp plant milk
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp chives, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tsp garlic granules
Preparation
Drain the tofu
If it’s really wet, use a cheese cloth or a tea towel to properly drain all the water
The dryer the tofu, the better
Place the tofu, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, milk and oil in a blender
Blend for about 30 seconds or until desired consistency
I like mine to still have tiny chunks of tofu, but if you’re after a really smooth consistency, you may want to blend for a little longer
Stir in the chives, garlic granules, salt and pepper
Taste and season more if required
