Vegan Garlic and Herb Cream Cheese
Ingredients
- 200g firm tofu
- 4 tbsp plant milk
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp chives, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tsp garlic granules
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Drain the tofu and ensure it is dry, using a cheese cloth or tea towel if necessary.
Place the tofu, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, plant milk, and olive oil in a blender and blend for about 30 seconds or until desired consistency.
Stir in the chives, garlic granules, salt, and pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning if required.
This recipe is customizable; for a spicy version, swap garlic and herbs for a sprinkling of chilli flakes.
