Delicious Paneer Lababdar Indian Curry Dish

Ingredients

  • 10 cashews
  • 1/4 cup watermelon seeds
  • 4 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 2 large onions
  • ghee (amount not specified)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic
  • 1 capsicum
  • 3 tomatoes
  • salt
  • turmeric powder
  • red chilli powder
  • garam masala
  • kasuri methi
  • milk
  • handful fresh coriander leaves
  • kitchen king masala (very little)

Preparation

  1. Soak 10 cashews, 1/4 cup watermelon seeds, and 4 teaspoons poppy seeds in warm water.

  2. Chop 2 large onions into thin slices.

  3. Heat some ghee in a wok.

  4. Add 2 teaspoons chopped garlic and the chopped onions to the wok and cook until golden brown.

  5. Add 1 chopped capsicum and cook for another 5-7 minutes.

  6. Grind 3 tomatoes along with the soaked cashews and seeds into a puree.

  7. Add the puree to the wok and cook for 15 minutes, stirring continuously.

  8. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, kasuri methi, and milk to adjust consistency.

  9. Cook for 10-15 minutes on low flame until all ingredients are well mixed.

  10. Add a handful of fresh coriander leaves.

  11. Add a little kitchen king masala, cover the wok, and let it sit for 5 minutes.

  12. Serve hot with bread of your choice.
