Delicious Ridge Gourd Tomato Onion Dish
Ingredients
- Ridge Gourd
- 2 big tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 1 green chilli
- ghee
- salt
- turmeric powder
- chilli powder
- water
- lemon juice
Preparation
Wash, peel and cut Ridge Gourd into small round pieces.
Grind 2 big tomatoes into puree.
Chop 1 onion and green chilli.
In a pressure cooker, take ghee and do not use oil.
Add the tomato puree and let it cook for a few minutes.
Add the chopped onion and green chilli.
Add salt, turmeric powder, a little chilli powder, and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add the chopped Ridge Gourd, mix everything, and add very little water.
Pressure cook for 10 minutes.
Add a little lemon juice before serving if desired.
