Delicious Ridge Gourd Tomato Onion Dish

Ingredients

  • Ridge Gourd
  • 2 big tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green chilli
  • ghee
  • salt
  • turmeric powder
  • chilli powder
  • water
  • lemon juice

Preparation

  1. Wash, peel and cut Ridge Gourd into small round pieces.

  2. Grind 2 big tomatoes into puree.

  3. Chop 1 onion and green chilli.

  4. In a pressure cooker, take ghee and do not use oil.

  5. Add the tomato puree and let it cook for a few minutes.

  6. Add the chopped onion and green chilli.

  7. Add salt, turmeric powder, a little chilli powder, and cook for 2-3 minutes.

  8. Add the chopped Ridge Gourd, mix everything, and add very little water.

  9. Pressure cook for 10 minutes.

  10. Add a little lemon juice before serving if desired.
