Cauliflower and Potato Mash with Garlic Pepper
Ingredients
- 5 small peeled gold potatoes
- Florets from 1 head cauliflower
- 1 tablespoon garlic pepper seasoning
- Splash of unsweetened almond milk
- 2-3 tablespoons plant butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Put five small peeled gold potatoes, cauliflower florets, and a tablespoon of garlic pepper seasoning into a pot of water.
Boil on high heat until potatoes are soft enough to split with a spoon.
Drain the water and add the vegetables back to the pot.
Add a splash of unsweetened almond milk and 2-3 tablespoons of plant butter.
Mash with a potato masher until desired consistency is reached.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Note that there's enough moisture in the cauliflower, so only a splash of almond milk is needed.
