Maca Oats with Banana and Almond Milk

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 mashed banana or replace with 2 tsp sweetener
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • Salt to taste

Toppings

  • pears
  • cinnamon
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a saucepan, stir to combine, and allow to cook and thicken for 5 minutes.

  2. Sauté diced pears with cinnamon, 2 tsp maple syrup, and a pinch of salt until softened, then add on top of the oats.
