Chai Spiced Chia Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup (375 ml) almond milk
  • 1 chai tea bag
  • 1-2 tsp maple syrup
  • 4 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp each of cinnamon and cardamon
  • pinch of ground ginger (optional)

Preparation

  1. Heat the almond milk and spices bring to a simmer

  2. Take the pan off the heat and add the tea bag, let it sit for 10 minutes, then remove the tea bag

  3. Stir in the chia seeds and maple syrup to your taste

  4. Stir well and let sit 5 minutes, stir again and then spoon into serving containers and cover

  5. Let the chia pudding chill in the fridge for 4 hours or over night

  6. Serve with a little peanut butter and homemade granola

  7. Enjoy!
