Chocolate Peanut Protein Oats
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup porridge oats
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon maca powder
- water to cover
- 1 scoop chocolate peanut protein powder
Toppings
- banana slices
- a fresh fig
- 1 square dark chocolate (85% cocoa)
- 1 heaped teaspoon nut butter
Preparation
Add the oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, and maca powder to a pot and stir.
Add water to cover and heat on the hob until the oats are cooked, adding more water than usual because the protein powder will thicken it.
Remove from heat and add the protein powder, then stir well.
Transfer to a bowl and add your favorite toppings.
Tips
For a less indulgent version, use either nut butter or chocolate instead of both to avoid overindulgence and make it easier to finish.
