Raw Orange Choc Tart

Ingredients

  • 80g raw macadamia (soaked in water for 2hrs)
  • 40g walnut (soaked in water for 2hrs)
  • 2 tbs cacao powder
  • 2 tbs melted coconut oil
  • 100g dates, pitted
  • pinch of salt flakes @murrayriversalt
  • 100g raw macadamia (soaked in water for 2hrs)
  • 1/2 c coconut cream
  • 1/4 c coconut oil
  • 1/3 c maple syrup
  • pinch of salt flakes @murrayriversalt
  • 100g raw macadamia (soaked in water for 2hrs)
  • 1/2 c fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 c maple syrup
  • 1/4 c coconut oil, melted
  • pinch of salt flakes @murrayriversalt

Preparation

  1. For the base: drain soaked macadamia & walnut and combine with all other ingredients for the base in a high power food processor/blender and blend until smooth

  2. Pour and spread mixture into a tart tin & press the mixture firmly against the sides & bottom of the tin and then place in the fridge

  3. Chocolate layer: Drain soaked macadamia & place with all other ingredients of the chocolate layer into a high power food processor/blender and blend until smooth & well combined. Pour the chocolate over the base and freeze it until it set

  4. Orange layer: Drain soaked macadamia & place with all other ingredients of the orange layer into a high power food processor/blender and blend until smooth & well combined. Pour mixture over the choco layer

  5. Decorate the top with dehydrated orange slices & place in fridge to set overnight, or freeze to set for at least 2 hours then place back in the fridge to be ready for serving

  6. Enjoy
