Simple and Quick Coconut Chutney
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh coconut
- 2 tablespoons roasted peanuts
- 2 tablespoons roasted chana dal or roasted gram
- Few green chillies
- 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 lemon
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Preparation
Blend all ingredients into a smooth paste by adding water.
Serve the chutney in a bowl.
Prepare a simple tadka and add it to the chutney.
Tips
Using raw green chillies is recommended for better taste instead of fried ones.
This chutney is easy and tasty, perfect for idly, dosa, or vada.
