Golden Turmeric Latte with Anti-Inflammatory Benefits

Ingredients

  • 400ml can full fat coconut milk
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder or use fresh grated root turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1tbsp erythritol or dash of stevia to taste
  • slice of fresh root ginger
  • 1tsp coconut oil

Preparation

  1. Place the coconut milk, turmeric, cinnamon, black pepper and erythritol in a blender and process until smooth.

  2. Pour the mixture into a pan and add the ginger and coconut oil.

  3. Simmer for 5 minutes to allow the flavour to develop.

  4. Strain and serve warm.

  5. This is lovely served warm but you can also turn it into an iced shake if wished.
