Golden Turmeric Latte with Anti-Inflammatory Benefits
Ingredients
- 400ml can full fat coconut milk
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder or use fresh grated root turmeric
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1tbsp erythritol or dash of stevia to taste
- slice of fresh root ginger
- 1tsp coconut oil
Preparation
Place the coconut milk, turmeric, cinnamon, black pepper and erythritol in a blender and process until smooth.
Pour the mixture into a pan and add the ginger and coconut oil.
Simmer for 5 minutes to allow the flavour to develop.
Strain and serve warm.
This is lovely served warm but you can also turn it into an iced shake if wished.
