Yummy Oat and Date Energy Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup dates
  • 4 tbsp peanut butter or any nut butter
  • 3 tbsp cacao powder
  • 3 tbsp honey or maple syrup for vegan version
  • 1 tbsp chia and flax seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • Pinch of salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and optional spices

Preparation

  1. Grind half of the oats into flour.

  2. Pre-soak dates in warm water for easier blending.

  3. Mix all ingredients in a blender or food processor until a clump of dough forms.

  4. Roll the dough into balls.

  5. Coat the balls with your desired coating.
