French Onion Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 tbs of vegan spread (@earthbalance buttery spread is our favorite)
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp of pink himalayan salt
  • 2 tbs of balsamic vinaigrette
  • 2 tbs of red wine
  • 1/2 tsp of pepper
  • 4 cups of water
  • 3 cups of cubed baguette
  • 1/2 cup of vegan mozzarella

Preparation

  1. In a large pot on medium heat add butter, onions, garlic, salt, pepper, balsamic vinaigrette, and wine

  2. Cook for 5 minutes while frequently stirring

  3. Lower heat to medium-low and let cook for 45 to 50 minutes

  4. Add water to pot and stir well

  5. Place soul in large ramekin, tip off with cheese and broil on 525 f for 3 minutes

  6. Remove soups from oven, garnish with fresh chopped parsely and enjoy???? #threebunnies
