Vibrant Yellow Smoothie with Turmeric and Fruits
Ingredients
- 1 small handful of almonds
- 1/4 cup of oats
- 1 frozen banana
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric
- 1 handful of mango (frozen)
- 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
- Small chunk of ginger
- 1 tablespoon of milled flax seed
- Coconut milk (to cover)
Preparation
If your blender is not powerful, soak the almonds overnight or use almond butter instead.
Use frozen banana and mango for the best texture.
Prepare ginger by using frozen chunks for easier grating.
Add all ingredients to a blender.
Cover with coconut milk.
Blend until smooth.
