Avocado and Mushroom Toast
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons oil
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- Black pepper to taste
- Chili flakes to taste
- Herbs of choice
- 1 avocado
- Lemon juice to taste
- Salt to taste
- Toasted bread for serving
Preparation
In a skillet, heat 2 teaspoons of oil and add 2 cups of sliced mushrooms
Add in 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce, then cook on medium heat for 8-10 minutes, or until mushrooms are caramelized
Season with black pepper, chili flakes, and herbs of your choice
Meanwhile, mash an avocado in a bowl and season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste
Serve with toasted bread and enjoy
