Apple Cinnamon Nut Rolls
Ingredients
- 17g fresh yeast
- 50g vegan margarine
- 50g cane sugar (or coconut sugar)
- 50ml warm oat milk
- 300g flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
Preparation
Mix the warm (not over 40°C!) plant milk with the yeast, stir and let it rest for 2 min
Mix flour and salt and add the yeast mixture and margarine
Knead to a dough
Let it rest for 30-60 min (in a warm place, not over 40°C)
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) upper and lower heat
Knead the dough again (~5 min) and roll it out
Spread ~4 tbsp coconut sugar, 1tsp cinnamon and optional: 4 tbsp crushed hazelnuts on top
Cut an apple into small pieces and put them on the dough as well
Roll up, cut and brush with date syrup for a golden color
Bake them for ~20 min
