High Protein Breakfast Burrito

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp black sala (aka kala namak)
  • 120g (1) tomato, sliced
  • 100g (2) whole wheat tortillas

Preparation

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat, drain the tofu and press to remove the liquid

  2. Add the butter to the heated skillet and let melt

  3. Crumble the tofu using your hands in and stir occasionally until golden

  4. Add the sliced tomato and give it another stir

  5. Prepare the sauce by whisking together the soy milk, nutritional yeast, spices and mustard

  6. Pour the sauce in the pan and fold in until it reaches your desired consistency

  7. Spread onto the tortillas and add some fresh cilantro or hot sauce (optional)
