Macadamia Nut Butter Recipe
Ingredients
- macadamia nut butter recipe:
- 225 g raw macadamia nuts
- 3 tbsp coconut oil
- pinch (or more) sea salt/ himalayan salt
Preparation
Dry roast nut on frying pan (medium-low heat) until lightly golden (they'll continue to roast even after off heat)
Pour nuts into food processor (let cool slightly first). Process nuts until they are creamy
Add coconut oil & salt, and blend until the nut butter is completely pureed
The macadamia nut butter may be a little runny to begin with, but will set up once you refrigerate it. Adding coconut oil to the butter helps the macadamia nut butter to thicken and spread easily
