Pasta with Spicy Tomato Sauce and Sage

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 minced chili
  • 500ml crushed tomatoes
  • 1 big handful roughly chopped sage
  • generous pinch of salt
  • 500g mafaldine pasta

Preparation

  1. Heat 3 tbsp olive oil in a pot over medium-low heat.

  2. Add 4 cloves of minced garlic and cook for about a minute while stirring constantly.

  3. Add 1 minced chili, 500ml crushed tomatoes, 1 big handful of roughly chopped sage, a generous pinch of salt, and a bit more olive oil.

  4. Let the sauce cook for about 5 minutes.

  5. Add cooked and drained 500g mafaldine pasta and a bit more salt.
