Ackee and Vegan Bacon

Ingredients

  • 500ml /2 cups ackee drained
  • 1pk of vegan bacon, finely sliced
  • pinch of sea salt
  • pinch of black pepper to taste
  • 1 onion finely, chopped
  • 3 tbsp olive oil

Preparation

  1. Heat saucepan over a medium heat, and add oil, then add bacon allow to browned for a 10 minutes then add onions sauté for 2 minutes then add Ackee salt and black pepper and chilli optional and serve with greens bananas or yam and dumplings
