Sesame Shiso Udon Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1/2 package udon noodles
  • Fresh shiso leaves
  • Sesame seeds

Dressing

  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons shiso flavored ponzu sauce
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon tamari
  • Sesame seeds

Preparation

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil

  2. Add the udon noodles and cook according to package directions

  3. Drain the noodles

  4. Chop the shiso leaves

  5. Mix the dressing ingredients together in a small bowl

  6. Toss the drained noodles with the dressing and chopped shiso leaves.
