Apple Roses with Raspberry Filling


  • 1 puff pastry sheet
  • 2 red apples
  • lemon
  • 1 cup of raspberries
  • cinnamon


  1. Thaw 1 vegan puff pastry sheet

  2. Preheat oven to 350 F. Slice apples in half and then in thin half moon slices

  3. Put in oven safe bowl filled with water and juice of half a lemon and put in oven for 10 minutes. Time might vary if your slices are thicker or thinner. Just make sure they bent a little

  4. Put raspberries in a small pot on medium heat and let simmer for about 10 minutes, frequently stirring

  5. Roll out pastry sheet and cut into 6 strips

  6. Add raspberries to each strip of pastry and spread out

  7. Lay out apple slices along side of pastry strip. Sprinkle with a little cinnamon. Fold the other side of pastry over apple slices and roll into roses. (It's easiest if you just look up

  8. Put on tray and put in oven on 350 F for 45 minutes

  9. Take out of oven, and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with confectioners sugar and enjoy
