Black Bean Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 can black beans (drained and rinsed well)
- 3 tablespoons of milk
- 3/4 cup medjool dates (pitted)
- 1 tablespoon of cacao powder
- 1 tablespoon of vegan chocolate protein powder from @petite_protein
- 1/2 cup of peanut butter (@picspeanutbutter)
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 1/2 cup of walnuts (keep a few for toppings)
Preparation
Pour black beans into a blender or food processor and blitz until a thick paste forms. Then add the rest of the ingredients, blending until well combined
Pour mixture into a tin, and place the remaining handful of walnuts on top of the batter. •
Cook for 16min at 175 degrees Celsius
Makes approx 8 brownies
