Crispy Oven-Baked Potato Wedges

Ingredients

  • 4 medium sized yellow potatoes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 425ºF/220ºC.

  2. Scrub and wash potatoes well and pat dry.

  3. Cut into wedges, each potato into 8-10 wedges, and toss with 2 tbsp olive oil to coat, reserving 1 tbsp for the pan.

  4. In a small bowl, stir together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.

  5. Sprinkle the mixture over the oiled potato wedges and toss to coat.

  6. Prepare a baking sheet with the remaining 1 tbsp oil and arrange potato wedges to stand on the skin side.

  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes until edges are crisp and golden, and sides are golden.

  8. Remove from heat and serve, optionally sprinkling a little extra salt.
