Homemade Cacao Granola with Almonds and Maple Syrup
Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup almonds, sliced
- 6 tbsp + 2 tsp maple syrup
- 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp almond butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Preparation
Preheat oven to 325 F.
Mix all ingredients in a bowl, making sure to coat oats and almonds evenly in maple syrup, almond butter, salt, and cacao. Leave as many or as few big chunks according to preference.
Bake for 20-25 minutes and let cool completely so it becomes crunchy.
Serve with almond milk and pomegranate jewels.
