Homemade Cacao Granola with Almonds and Maple Syrup

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup almonds, sliced
  • 6 tbsp + 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 325 F.

  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl, making sure to coat oats and almonds evenly in maple syrup, almond butter, salt, and cacao. Leave as many or as few big chunks according to preference.

  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes and let cool completely so it becomes crunchy.

  4. Serve with almond milk and pomegranate jewels.
