Homemade Cashew and Almond Butter

Ingredients

  • 200g unsalted cashew nuts
  • 200g unsalted raw almonds
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp coconut oil
  • cinnamon (optional)

Preparation

  1. Roast the nuts in the oven for 8-10 minutes at 170C.

  2. Let the nuts cool completely.

  3. Transfer the cooled nuts to a food processor, add the oil, and mix for 7-10 minutes depending on desired runniness. Important: Do not mix for too long to avoid a lumpy texture.

  4. Store the nut butter in a jar with a lid.
