Homemade Cashew and Almond Butter
Ingredients
- 200g unsalted cashew nuts
- 200g unsalted raw almonds
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp coconut oil
- cinnamon (optional)
Preparation
Roast the nuts in the oven for 8-10 minutes at 170C.
Let the nuts cool completely.
Transfer the cooled nuts to a food processor, add the oil, and mix for 7-10 minutes depending on desired runniness. Important: Do not mix for too long to avoid a lumpy texture.
Store the nut butter in a jar with a lid.
