Avocado and Mushroom Toast

Ingredients

  • Some oil
  • 1-2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Chili flakes, to taste
  • Herbs of your choice
  • 1 avocado
  • Lemon juice, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Bread, for toasting

Preparation

  1. In a skillet, heat some oil and add 1-2 cups of sliced mushrooms.

  2. Add 1/2 tsp garlic powder and 1 tbsp dark soy sauce.

  3. Cook on medium heat for 8-10 minutes, or until mushrooms are caramelized.

  4. Season with black pepper, chili flakes, and herbs of your choice.

  5. Meanwhile, mash an avocado in a bowl.

  6. Season the mashed avocado with lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.

  7. Serve with toasted bread.
