Chilli Pasta Sauce with Hidden Veggies

Ingredients

  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp tomato purée
  • 1 veg stock cube
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • Splash of milk

Preparation

  1. Add the onion and pepper to a frying pan and fry for five minutes

  2. Whilst the veg is cooking, add the remaining ingredients to a blender/food processor

  3. Once the veg has finished cooking, add to the food processor. Process together until your desired sauce consistency has been reached

  4. Pour the sauce back into the frying pan and simmer for a couple of minutes. Add any beans, cooked fake meat etc at this point too

  5. Serve over pasta and enjoy
