Food Tryb So Just Had to Repost This Pakora Recipe by Our Member
Ingredients
- 2 cups chickpea flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1.5 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tap garlic powder
- medium sized sweet potato
- 1 courgette
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup peas (frozen)
- 1/2 cup chopped red pepper
- you can substitute any veggie you like!
Preparation
Preheat oven to 250c
In a large bowl, mix together dry ingredients (first 7 ingredients) it took me about 11/4 cups of water
Grate all the veggies - including the skin! add to batter
Using a tablespoon, take scoops of battered veggies and drop onto the well oiled baking sheet
Bake for 8-9 minutes, then flip and bake another 10 minutes, until golden brown
