Homemade Sausages

Ingredients

  • 1 – Heat one tablespoon of coconut oil or preferred cooking fat in a skillet on medium heat. When ready
  • add 1/4 cup minced onion and cook for about 5 minutes. Add 4 cloves minced garlic and 3 tablespoons chopped fresh sage. Cook for a couple of minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and let cool

Preparation

  1. In a mixing bowl place 2 pounds of ground turkey with 1 teaspoon salt. When onion mixture has cooled, add it to the meat and mix well with hands. Form into 12-14 patties

  2. Reheat one tablespoon of coconut oil or preferred cooking fat (if there isn’t any left from before) in a skillet on medium heat. Cook in batches for 6-8 minutes per side or until golden brown and completely cooked through
