Lentil Bruschetta Dip Recipe (Oil-Free)
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb steamed lentils (or ready-made from @traderjoes)
- 4-5 diced tomatoes
- 10 basil leaves
- 1 garlic clove
- Himalayan Salt & Crushed Black Pepper, to taste
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 green onions, chopped
- OPTIONAL: 1 avocado, diced
Preparation
Dice tomatoes, basil, and green onion very small.
Mince the garlic and add in the dried oregano, Himalayan salt, and crushed black pepper.
Mix the cooled lentils (or prepackaged lentils) with the diced tomatoes, basil, green onion, garlic, and spices.
OPTIONAL: Add the diced avocado to the mixture.
PRO TIP: Allow the bruschetta to set for at least one hour before mixing or serving.
Serve the lentil bruschetta dip with slices of veggies or your chip of choice.
