Cinnamon Raisin French Toast
Ingredients
- 1 cup canned coconut milk
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 TSP vanilla extract
- 1 TB ground flax
- 4 slices @happycampersgf cinnamon raisin bread
Toppings
- @earthbalance soy free butter
- Powdered sugar
- Organic maple syrup
Preparation
To make dipping batter, combine all ingredients in a bowl and let sit for 5-10 minutes.
Heat butter in frying pan until melted
Dip each piece of bread on the batter (do not over saturate)
Cook in pan for approximately 5 minutes per side on medium low heat until nice and crispy.
Assemble with butter, syrup, berries and powdered sugar!
