Spicy Indian Chicken Jalfrezi with Peppers
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- garlic
- 1 carton passata
- 2 teaspoons turmeric
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 1 green chilli
- 1 onion
- 1 red pepper
- 1 green pepper
- long grain rice
Preparation
Coat the chopped chicken in 1 teaspoon each of the four spices and leave in the fridge while preparing the rest.
Fry the onions, garlic, and green chilli in vegetable oil, then add 200ml water and blend in a processor.
Add the remaining four spices to the hot pan with the passata.
In a smaller pan, fry the chicken and the peppers.
Add the chicken to the tomato mixture along with the blended sauce and bring to the boil.
