Basic Stirfry Veg + Tofu
Ingredients
- 250g tofu
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed + finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 2 zucchini, sliced
- 2 carrots, peeled + sliced
- 1 large capsicum, deseeded + sliced
- 4 slices of cabbage, finely chopped
- tamari (@pureharvest)
- vegetarian oyster sauce (i get mine from @thegreenedge
- salt + pepper
Preparation
Chop tofu into slices, and fry in a dash of sesame oil until light golden in colour on both sides. Set aside
In the same pan, fry the onion, garlic + cumin seeds until soft. Add carrot, zucchini + minced ginger. A splash of water here will help mix in thr ginger
Stir through the capsicum, cabbage + chilli flakes, and cook until cabbage has softened. Add the tofu back to the pan, and add a solid splash of each of the sauces. It's really up to you how much! Season, stir, simmer briefly + serve
