Vegan Baked Portobello Mushroom Bacon
Ingredients
- 8 large portobello mushrooms
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
Preparation
Slice 8 large portobello mushrooms into uniform strips, 1/4-1/2 inch wide.
Add mushroom strips to a baking sheet and gently toss with 1/4 cup olive oil and 1 teaspoon salt.
Spread strips out evenly on the baking sheet, overlapping is fine.
Bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
Gently toss the mushroom strips and spread into a single layer.
Continue baking for another 20-25 minutes.
Allow to cool slightly before eating.
