Raw Vegan Crackers from Vegetable Pulp
Ingredients
- 1 small papaya
- 2 cups celery pulp
- 1 cup mung bean sprouts
- 1 orange bell pepper
Preparation
Food process all ingredients. It works best if you do the papaya and bell pepper first to create a liquid and then drop in the sprouts and pulp.
Smooth the batter onto a nonstick dehydrator sheet and score with a knife depending on the size you want. I like them about bite size.
Dehydrate at 115F on the nonstick sheet until you can flip it onto the mesh tray. Then dehydrate until completely dry.
Dehydration time varies based on your humidity. Don’t be surprised if you live someplace humid and it takes a long time. That’s why I like to have a batch going once every few days.
