Simple Cabbage and Plant-Based Bacon Stir-Fry
Ingredients
- Half of a medium sized cabbage, finely chopped
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1 small tomato, finely diced
- 175g or 6oz plant-based bacon, already chopped or cut in small pieces
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar, for taste to reduce salt and add tangy flavor
- 4 tbsp olive oil or coconut oil
Preparation
Heat oil in frying pan.
Add bacon and cook for a few minutes.
Add onion and chilli pepper if using.
Add cabbage and cook until tender.
Add vinegar and black pepper.
Serve with yam, sweet potatoes, or dumplings of your choice.
