Thick and Doughy Sourdough French Toast

Ingredients

  • one thick piece of sourdough bread
  • milk of choice
  • 1 egg
  • vanilla extract
  • cinnamon

Toppings

  • siggis dairy 2% yogurt
  • almond butter
  • fruit
  • pecans
  • maple syrup

Preparation

  1. In a shallow bowl, mix milk of choice, 1 egg, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.

  2. Soak the sourdough bread in the mixture.

  3. Pan-sear both sides over medium heat for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.

Serving

  1. Top with siggis dairy 2% yogurt, almond butter, fruit, pecans, and maple syrup.
