Vegan Cheesy Chickpea Spread

Ingredients

  • 15 ounces chickpeas, peeled
  • 1/4 cup chickpea miso
  • 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp vegan Worcestershire
  • 1/2 cup chopped carrot
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt

Preparation

  1. Peel the chickpeas to ensure a more smooth texture.

  2. Boil the chopped carrot until soft.

  3. Drain and rinse the carrot to cool it.

  4. Process all of the ingredients together until smooth using a high-speed blender or food processor.

  5. Avoid adding water to keep it thick and scrape the sides as needed.

  6. Enjoy immediately or refrigerate for even better flavor.
