Vegan Honey Garlic Cauliflower Bites

Ingredients

Honey garlic sauce

  • 1/3 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/3 cup coconut aminos
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegan honey alternative
  • 10-15 dashes Tabasco
  • 5 chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 chopped shallot
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp tapioca or arrowroot starch

Cauliflower and batter

  • cauliflower bites
  • chickpea flour
  • water
  • honey
  • Tabasco
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic powder
  • green onion
  • red pepper flakes
  • everything bagel seasoning

Preparation

  1. Sauté garlic and shallot in a little oil.

  2. Add the remaining sauce ingredients.

  3. Season to taste.

  4. Whisk until thickened.

  5. Combine the batter using chickpea flour, water, honey, Tabasco, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

  6. Dip cauliflower bites into the batter and place them on a greased and lined baking sheet.

  7. Bake at 425°F for 35 minutes.

  8. Remove from oven and flip the cauliflower.

  9. Broil for 12 minutes.

  10. Remove from oven and dip in the sauce.

  11. Place back on the sheet.

  12. Broil for 8-10 minutes.

  13. Remove from oven and drizzle with more sauce.

  14. Top with green onion, red pepper flakes, and everything bagel seasoning.
