Vegan Nutella with Three Ingredients
Ingredients
- 1 cup hazelnuts
- 1 1/2 tbsp cacao/cocoa powder
- 12 dates
- water ( 2/3 -1 cup)
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 360F/180C
Bake the hazelnuts on a baking tray for 12 minutes
In the blender or food processor, blend the dates and warm water on high until smooth. Set aside
When the nuts are done, transfer to the blender and blend on low. Gradually increase to medium until it turns into hazelnut butter.
Add the blended dates and cocoa powder into the blender
Start blending on low and gradually increase to high
Stop the blender to scrape down the sides if needed. Be patient!
Once the nut butter is smooth and glossy, it is done.
