Vegan Pizza
Ingredients
- 0.5 cup warm water
- 1.5 cup all purpose flour
- 0.5 tsp salt (I skipped the salt)
- 1 tsp sugar
- 0.5tsp yeast
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil (I used sunflower oil)
Preparation
I used Dolly's pizza sauce (I wasn't planning to be adventurous by making it from scratch), 1 big green bell pepper, half a medium size onion, as an after thought, I added a tiny bit of cauliflower
Also, I used a little bit of my vegan garlic sauce or #toum that failed to emulsify (garlic, olive oil, lemon) but I'll try making a vegan cheese from scratch (already watched a hundred YouTube videos on it)
For a long time I've really wanted to bake a pizza but the thought of kneading by hand gives me heart palpitations ? because I have no clue what to do
That still hasn't changed, so I used a food processor to do the kneading for this
The first attempt I made a while back, I used chapatti flour/ whole wheat flour and baking soda, needless to say the expectation and reality were far apart
