Vegan Poutine Recipe

Ingredients

  • ada’s vegan mozzarella
  • 6 tbsp of coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup of all purpose flour
  • 3 cups of vegetable stock
  • onion powder
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp of corn starch.
  • pinch of black pepper
  • pinch of salt
  • olive oil
  • 3 potatoes

Preparation

  1. Peel and rinse the potatoes then cut them into sticks

  2. Fry the potatoes with Olive Oil, or mix them with Olive Oil and bake-fry them in the oven, or simply Air Fry them

  3. In a pot, melt the Coconut Oil on medium fire

  4. Add the Flour and Onion Powder and stir for about 3 minutes till the mixture turns brownish

  5. Add the Vegetable Broth and Soy Sauce and bring to a boil while stirring

  6. Dissolve the Corn Starch with some water, and add it to the boiling pot and stir continuously for the gravy to thicken

  7. Add Black Pepper and Salt

  8. Cut Ada’s Vegan Mozzarella into 2/3 cm cubes and add them on top of the fries

  9. Add as much Gravy as you like on top of the Fries and Mozzarella

  10. Serve hot and immediately
